Charnwood Darts Leagues Rules

1 All Charnwood4s league matches to be played on a Thursday night - matches can be rearranged throughout the season by mutual agreement of the sides or played on the free week prior to the last game of the season. Matches cannot be rearranged after the penultimate game of the season.

2 All matches to commence NO LATER than 8:30pm

3 If a side does not turn up on the evening the opposition have the right to claim the match.

4 In the event of a team not showing for a match the opposition will be awarded 7 points.

5 The winning captain is responsible for the result reaching the organisers by text NO LATER than 4 days after the match has been played.

6 All matches to be played on a standard board, hung 5' 8" from the centre of the bull to the floor and the throw measured 7' along the floor from a plumb line suspended from the bull, a raised oche shall be used measuring at least 18" long

7 All matchboards shall be in good condition and adequate lighting shall be provided

8 A new players registration form and fees must be communicated to the league organiser AT LEAST 48 hours before a player is eligible to play.

9 No new players can be registered after the seasons halfway turn round..

10 If a player has not been registered and the appropriate fees paid prior to the match then the team playing that player will have 4 points deducted and awarded to the opposition up to a maximum 9-0 victory. In the case of a Cup Competition the offending team will forfeit the match.

11 A player may only sign on for one team

12 Winter Knock Out Cups will be a straight draw of all teams involved.

13 All games (with the exception of knock out cups) shall be straight start double finish. Bust rule to apply

14 The order of play of players will be drawn, away team captain to draw the order of play for the home team and then the away team order of play to be drawn by the home team. This applies in both League and Cup Matches

4 x singles best of 3 legs of 501
4 x pairs (one leg of 701)
Team of four (one leg 1001)
One point awarded for each game of singles and then one point per leg played thereafter

17 Winter Knock Out Cup Competition Charnwood4s Team of Four (team games only) best of 7 Legs (1001). Double start and finish bust rule applies. Bull up for who starts. Each leg to be started by player number 1 for both sides.

18 Any match not played before the pentultimate match will be void

19 Any Cost incurred by League for refused payments will be charged back to the team

If any team has less than 4 players they must play with that number of players. No substitues allowed, no player can play in 2 positions

20 Prizes must be collected on Presentation Evening by a team member or designated stand in, if not the prize is void

21 The league organisers shall adjudicate any matters arising that are not covered or have a significant impact on the Leagure or are unavoidable
